These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website www.thesilverstich.com (the "Website"), and your purchase of any product from our hand embroidery atelier and designer boutique collections ("Products"). By browsing the Website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website or place an order.

1. About Us

The Silver Stitch is a brand built on the belief that clothing is a form of identity, and identity deserves craftsmanship. We bring together a hand embroidery atelier and a designer boutique, offering pieces that are thoughtfully crafted and, in many cases, handmade to order.

2. Our Products

Product images displayed on the Website are indicative in nature. The actual product may differ slightly from the image shown, due to factors such as screen settings, lighting, and photography, or minor variations that are natural to handcrafted and hand-embroidered pieces. Please refer to the product specification and description for accurate details before placing an order.

3. Orders

All orders placed through the Website are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or unavailability of stock. Once an order is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation via email and/or SMS.

4. Shipping Policy

We know how important it is to receive your purchases in the finest condition and on time, and we work with a wide network of courier partners to deliver your order as quickly as possible.

• Depending on your location, orders are delivered within 3-5 working days of dispatch from our warehouse.
• Free shipping is available on all products above Rs 2000.
• If a partial cancellation by the customer brings the total cart value below the free-shipping threshold, The Silver Stitch reserves the right to recover shipping charges of Rs. 199.
• If an order is cancelled by us, or lost in transit, the full order amount, including any delivery charges paid, will be refunded.

5. Exchange & Returns Policy

We only offer an exchange in case a product is received broken or damaged. To raise a return/exchange request, use our easy online returns process by logging in to your account on www.thesilverstich.com. You can also call us on 9811654904 (Working hours: Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm) or email us at thesilverstich@gmail.com.

As a standard policy across all points of sale, we do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds on any purchases — whether made-to-order or off-the-rack.

Points to remember

• Return/exchange requests must be raised within 2 days of delivery of the product.
• Please fill out the Returns Form for easy and smooth processing of your refund.
• All returned items must be unused and unwashed for hygiene reasons, and returned with original packaging and tags intact. Items received without tags will not be accepted.
• Shipping charges are non-refundable.
• If you receive a damaged or defective product, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt. We may request photographs/videos of the damage, which can be shared at thesilverstich@gmail.com or on 9811654904.
• If you choose to self-ship the product back to us, it must be dispatched within 48 hours of the return request being raised.
• Any returned item that does not meet the above conditions will not be accepted and will be shipped back to the customer at their own expense. No amount will be reimbursed in such cases.
• Please pack returned items securely to prevent loss or damage in transit, and use a reliable courier service for all self-shipped returns.
• Where reverse pick-up is not available at your pin code, you may self-ship the item(s) to us. In this case, Rs. 100 will be reimbursed to your account as a coupon code towards shipping costs, once the returned items have passed our quality check.

How to return

Self-ship: If your pin code is not serviced by our courier partner for reverse pick-up, you will need to self-ship the product(s) back to our Returns Department. You will be reimbursed INR 100 towards shipping costs as a voucher, redeemable on a future purchase on our website. This is subject to the returned item passing inspection and quality check on receipt at our warehouse.

A Return Form is included with your order in the shipment parcel; please use it to return the item. If you have misplaced the form, simply mention your order details and complete shipping address on the return package.

Refund options

You may choose to receive your refund in one of the following ways:

• Cash refund via bank transfer, for all Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.
• Refund to the original payment account or credit card, for all online/prepaid orders.
• A coupon code for the refund value, sent to your registered email address, redeemable against any future purchase.

6. Taxes & Duties

For Customers in India

All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of applicable taxes and duties.

For International Customers

For most international destinations, orders are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. This means that product prices displayed on our website do not include import duties, customs charges, or local taxes that may be levied by the destination country.

Any applicable duties, taxes, or customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid upon arrival to release the shipment from customs.

6. Cancellation Policy

The Silver Stitch reserves the right to cancel any order without providing an explanation, where the order requirements could not be met. We will communicate any order cancellation and applicable refund within a reasonable time. If a partial cancellation by the customer brings the total cart value below the free-shipping threshold, we reserve the right to recover shipping charges of Rs. 199.

7. Cash Back & Promo Codes / Coupons

• Cash back and promo codes may not be applicable on all products on the Website.
• Special coupon codes must be redeemed within their validity period; expired codes cannot be extended.
• Two offers cannot be combined or redeemed together using a single promo code.
• The Silver Stitch reserves the right to cancel any promotional code and any transactions in which it is used (this does not apply to cash back promo codes).
• Cash back and promo code coupons cannot be combined to avail an offer. If a promo code is used on an order, cash back will not be generated on that order.
• The cash back amount is subject to change at the sole discretion of The Silver Stitch.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including but not limited to designs, embroidery patterns, images, logos, graphics, and text, is the property of The Silver Stitch and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No content may be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent.

9. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at thesilverstich@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Silver Stitch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of the Website or the purchase of our Products, beyond the value of the order in question.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and operational reasons. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and your continued use of the Website following such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
